I'm always leery of ordering a steak IN a restaurant, so I was definitely nervous about DoorDashing one. Easily the best steak I've had in years. Definitely going to be my go to place. "Everything was cooked perfectly. It was all still piping hot. They followed all of my instructions. Really large portions. Good value for the money. However, I found myself wishing everything had more flavor/seasoning. Especially the catfish and fries. To be fair, I'm from the Deep South and have high standards when it comes to catfish. But the breading definitely needed some seasoning. The wings would be amazing if there was a spicy version of breading on them. I opted for the buffalo sauce on the side instead of being tossed, and I'm so glad I did bc the buffalo sauce was not good. It was more like straight tobacco instead of buffalo sauce. I also wish that restaurants which served lots of fried food would follow Chili's lead on packaging take out orders. When you pkg fried food in styrofoam containers and then place it in plastic bags that are tied up, the steam has nowhere to go. You are ensuring that your customers have soggy food by the time it gets to their house. Using cardboard take out containers and paper bags helps the fried food retain its integrity and stay crispy. Needless to say, my food was pretty soggy. The catfish held up pretty well though. I don't think I would ever order from here again, however, it was an enjoyable meal. Just not very memorable ."
