"I loved the tabbouleh it had great flavor and I could taste the mint, minced parsley, tomato and other ingredients. I loved that it had just the right amount of acidity to bring out all of the flavors. I could have eaten twice the amount and only had it for my dinner. The falafel was drier than usual but was edible, the "dip" with it was watery and tasteless, and added nothing to it to compensate for dryness. I ended up crumbling it into the tabbouleh and ate it that way. I thought I ordered the stuffed grape leaves but they didn't come. All it was in the diner was the salad and falafel. For $15 it was ok, if I order again, I'll order the tabbouleh and grape leaves, a la carte I think that is a better value."

I ordered the Sunday Homestyle Chicken® (two boneless chicken breasts, hand-dipped in our special buttermilk batter, breaded and deep fried to a crispy golden brown. Plus, choice of two Country Sides (for me, Hashbrown Casserole and Mashed Potatoes w/Sawmill gravy) and served with hand-rolled Buttermilk Biscuits or Corn Muffins. I got both. With Apple Butter, as well! CB is always good, a little less so at home but, still really good! This particular meal was pretty good! I got 2 HUGE pieces of chicken! The hashbrown casserole was a bit dry and plain but, the mashed potatoes and sawmill gravy was awesome! So was the biscuits and cornbread! Highly recommend CB to anyone looking for a great meal!"

"This was by far the worst meal we have ever had from Cracker Barrel. The Homestyle Chicken breasts were no bigger than a regular tender .. they used to be so big you would need to take one home. When biting into the breasts, they were hard as a rock, as if they had been sitting around all afternoon; despite this, they were very chewy and rubbery inside. I ordered steak fries and carrots with mine, only to get cole slaw with actual leafs of cabbage, not shredded. The fries were adequate but cold. My wife ordered hash brown casserole, in which she said wasn't bad, though it seemed to be burnt on top. By far the worse experience we have had."
