"food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! i would drink their broth for daaays. the taiyaki ("fish waffles", as i jokingly call them) is godly if you're a fan of interesting sweets!! crispy waffle outside, soft sweet inside! i've also heard the croquettes are a big hit, for good reason. basically fried mashed potatoes with a yummy (what i think is) tonkotsu sauce on them. i would highly recommend the Spicy Beef if you dont know what to get. the meat is so good, i rip mine up before adding the broth to make sure i have some in every bite. my roommate always gets Spicy Tonkotsu, which also smells delicious food aside, the staff are always fantastic!! if i could, i would come back to the mall every day just to check up on them and talk. i've seen a few different handfuls of cashiers, and all of them were great!! i believe the chef is always the same person, and i love him too! great food, great conversations, great smiles, every time i come in! love these guys!!"

"I went with the half and half Chili Cheese Fries I wanted both the chili cheese dog and the smothered burrito and just couldn't decide. Both the red and green chili are fantastic, and the fries still have a good crunch, which I didn't expect since I live on the opposite side of town (delivery time and all that ya know) The Ruben was perfect for me, bread toasted just right, good amount of meat, with the cheese, sauerkraut, and other toppings, and it was still really hot, like I just ordered it, had to wait a couple min for it to cool down actually. The one happy surprise is that I got a lemonade, and it was pink lemonade, I love pink lemonade, so that was just a bonus. Definitely will be having it again, but I think I want to actually go to the restaurant next time. If it was this good 25 min after it was made and delivered, then I can only speculate how it is at the spot. Thank you Espi's!!"

"The food was very overpriced for mediocre quality at best. We ordered a Bacon Cheddar Burger and it was nothing special, and the toppings were cheap and soggy. It was definitely not worth the price. We also got a Get Shorty Short Rib French Dip Sandwich and it was disappointing. The meat was so thin that it was practically ground, and the bread wasn't the quality I would hope to have at a french restaurant. We also ordered a salad and it was very underwhelming and inedible as the leaves were wilted and the pomegranate seeds were brown and mushy. The carrots were cut into carrot sticks and were too big to eat. It looked like a bag salad that was about to go bad. The french onion soup was bland and slightly sour. However, I will give them credit for their Soft Pretzel Sticks and Beignets Supreme, I really enjoyed both of them. Overall I would not eat here again for the quality, but especially not for the ridiculous pricing."
