"I ordered the Lamb Biryani and it was perfection. Flavorful, spiced well, generous portions of lamb layering the bottom of the tray, and enough for three-four meals (for one person). If you've eaten in, you know this place is a hole in the wall attached to a small grocery store. It reminds me of the places in Korea that are open for long hours and cater to cab drivers and folks working night shifts by offering wholesome meals for cheap and without any frills. This is exactly what you get with Shan's. No frills, delicious food that is going to fill you up without emptying your wallet. Highly recommend."

"This is the only place that knows how to make even a chicken dumpling flavorful. I've had all their dumplings/bao and my top 3 steamed are Pork and Cabbage Dumpling, Shrimp Dumpling / 虾饺, and Pork with Cabbage Bao / 豬肉白菜包(2). Their lamb dumplings are also amazing but I would recommend getting those fried instead of steamed! Their price and portions are an amazing value. They're the only dumpling place that has not suffered from shrinkflation. You can tell they make these fresh in the morning it's my favorite thing to get for brunch/breakfast. Would keep ordering again!"
