It is some of the best orange chicken I've had for take out. It's so flavorful, moist, but at the same time perfectly fried. I don't live far which could be why the quality stays good by delivery, but I've also dug into it for leftovers after a few hours and it's still just as good. Their sushi is decent too. I just discovered my all time favorite vegetarian sushi roll ever. Spicy Garden. HOLY COW. Mango sweetness, but then a hit of jalapeño and hot sauce. Put some ginger on it. This thing is packed with flavor you won't even miss the fact that it has no fish on it. Extra brownie points too that they have an option for extra ginger- and they do not skimp. "

"Usually VERY good quality. It might've been the dinner rush or a new hire but the quality wasn't so great this time. The avocado on the Rainbow Roll 8Pcs was a little browned and the fish was a little crunchy and slightly off-color on some pieces. The Shrimp Tempura Roll 5Pcs was fine but just poorly constructed and fell apart easily. Portions were huge except for the Eel Avocado Roll 6Pcs which was just normal. I would order all again but I probably am going to wait a while because the quality wasn't amazing this time around."

I think my favorite thing was the egg waffle, which should have what its stuffed with in the description (it was red bean paste) and I loved the sunflower roll. "The onigiri here is quite flavorful and a good value. However I thought the Salmon Zaap , while good, was quite expensive for just 5 thin pieces of sashimi with a little Thai seafood sauce. Next time I'd probably just go for the onigiri when ordering from here."

"I've eaten at Ekiben many times, but this was my first time doordashing. They packaged the items very thoughtfully (the Thai Iced Tea came wrapped in a plastic baggy to prevent leaks on the food, and it also had tape over the straw hole). Everything was exactly the excellent quality and flavor I've come to expect from Ekiben in-person. The onigiri was fresh and flavorful, and the Orange Chicken Don was crispy and amazing. The portion sizes are respectable for the price. The Thai Iced Tea in particular is a pretty big cup for $6, and it has the perfect level of brown sugar sweetness. I've been in person many times and will be back, and would order through doordash, many times again. This place is a North Center gem."
