"the rustic baked potato soup is fire! my new favorite. so creamy and hearty."
"sandwich had a bunch of lettuce hearts in it, which made it taste kind of gritty and dirty even after I took them out. they also put pepperoncini stems in the sandwich for some reason :/ the soup was ok, kinda bland and an incredibly small portion considering how much bread you're given to go with the rest of the food."

"So fresh! I think the Big Fish is my go-to now! Italian creamy and has that pop from the masago! The Colt is sooo refreshing! I love the silkiness of the cream cheese!"
"Kawa Sushi over the last two or three orders has not been the best. I generally give a restaurant a second try, as everyone has a bad day. But the last few times, the food is not good and overpriced for what you are getting. The Volcano Appetizer was awful this time. It had little spice heat to it, and the tuna was extremely fishy. It smelled off after trying a small bite, decided that I should not eat and tossed it. In past this was one of my favorites. The Spicy Crab Roll was lacking spice with a large portion of rice. I had two of the 6. The Shrimp Tempura appetizer (2) was good but heavily breaded. It needed more of the dipping sauce (the container was only filled 1/3rd) and the Rock N Shrimp was ok. There were no leftovers, as I tossed everything. Over the last couple of years, this was one my favorite places for Japanese. It no longer feeds that need. The food is so-so, the menu hasn't changed in years, and it's pretty pricey when there are other alternatives locally that can satisfy my favorites. Maybe I will try it again, but for now I don't think so. "

"This place has some really terrible reviews, especially on Google, so I was extremely hesitant to press the button to confirm my order after racking up $150 in goodies for my family of five; but since moving to Citrus County, I've tried every other place in town, and I haven't found a single one I've liked. I've always avoided this place due those reviews, so this was my last ditch effort to actually enjoy Chinese delivery. I literally spent 15 solid minutes staring at that button, though; steadily watching the estimated delivery time get later and later before I finally decided that the later it got, the less likely I'd actually get some decent food. Lo and behold, I went for it and struck gold! The price certainly made it feel like that's what I was ordering, anyway. To that extent, I do think the cost was exorbitant considering that all I ordered was two wonton soups, six egg rolls, and a quart each of pork fried rice, pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, steamed chicken with vegetables, and orange chicken. Until COVID, I swear I had never spent more than $6.95 on dinner combinations or $8.95 for quart-size servings, and now, everything has suddenly more than doubled. We rarely ever get to eat out anymore and this is why, because just four short years ago, this same dinner wouldn't have been but maybe $60 or $70. But, then again, the last time I ordered DoorDash, I got 4 bowls from WaWa and that was $65, so I guess it is what it is. Anyway, back to the food: IT IS DELICIOUS! Being from Fort Lauderdale, I think I might be pickier than most, but THIS is what I'm accustomed to. It tasted like "home, sweet home!" Fresh, hot, and all the portions and flavors were spot-on. So, look, I think the negative reviews probably came from people who only leave reviews when things don't go their way, or who want something for free, or even worse, the kind of people who consider Panda Express "good takeout." Yes, some of the reviews literally make that comparison. I would definitely ignore those people. I never leave reviews unless a place really knocks my socks off, and that's exactly what the people at New China did last night. I have no idea who they are and can't say anything else about them, except to say that my experience ordering from them through DoorDash here was exceptional. In a world where a couple of WaWa bowls cost half as much as a full Chinese dinner, this place is worth every penny and I will definitely order again because this is officially my new "go to." Thanks for reading!"
"This is the best Chinese restaurant in citrus county. The food tastes wonderful with large portions. Our food was hot and you can tell they used fresh ingredients. I will order again. My husband ordered the shrimp and veggies which had large shrimp with fresh veggies. I ordered the sesame chicken which was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and very tasty. I also ordered the chicken noodle soup. The BEST SOUP ever! Hot, perfectly seasoned and the noodles are "chef's kiss"! We love this Chinese restaurant and will never go to any other in this county."
