"Very well portioned for the price the freshness was on point we would totally order it again breakfast any time is amazing and the taste was on point to a T got the Bacon Temptation Omelette with a side of hashbrowns wouldn't recommend making them crispy as they're a little bit over crispy, but I didn't know that so that was a me problem lol. But other than that a perfect dish!! "

Figured I'd give them another try and I wish I wouldn't have. The cream cheese in the New York Cheesecake Pancakes was burnt onto the bottom and I ordered a stack of Cinn-A-Stack® Pancakes that had a burnt topping of cinnamon on just the top pancake and absolutely no cream cheese icing. Didn't send butter for the pancakes or the icings they are supposed to come with. Paid over 12 dollars per speciality stack of pancakes for burnt garbage. This is the last time I will ever order or go to iHop in Uniontown. Save your money. For the 60+ dollars I spent, I could have made it myself. And by the way, I don't write or give reviews EVER. This was just horrible and a waste of money. I am seriously disappointed. "

"This was the first time I ordered from The River's Edge. I ordered the Award Winning Cheddar Burger with a side of Fries, Side Pasta, & Smashed Redskin. The latter two were dinner that night & the next day. I ordered the burger Medium Well. It was Well; it's okay, I normally eat my meat Well, I was just hoping for a little less Well, a little more juicy. The cheddar is good. I like that you can customize, ask for toppings to be removed. I debated asking for no Mustard, because I only wanted a little, but decided to just get it & deal with how much I wanted from there, then add other condiments I wanted at home. I just don't like lots of condiments in general, and there was a lot of it. I just prefer condiments on the side. It's a large burger, seemed like a half pound; the bun was really nice and soft. I got a whole bag of fries with that burger. I had to put them on a separate plate, there was so much. They were really good, too. This restaurant has a very long list of what looks like excellent sides you can have with your main dish, and even though it may seem like burger & fries is a given, I really did debate if that's what I wanted. It just came down to, they do make a good combination, you can't beat an American classic. I saved the pasta & smashed potato for dinner. I wish there'd been just a little more marinara for the pasta, I had mostly naked penne. The sauce was okay, and that's really a compliment from me, because I make my sauce homemade the way my Italian Nana taught me. I'm very picky about marinara, so for me to enjoy a restaurant's marinara is very rare. I can probably count on one hand the number of times that's happened in my 60 years. And yes, I probably ate marinara as an infant. The smashed redskin potato was a nice treat, and I'm glad I got it. I melted some butter on it, and it was heaven. It was perfect consistency. All in all, a good couple of meals. More marinara, less mustard, and maybe I will order my burger Medium next time. "
