So it's not a small amount of food, but even with Dashpass AND Chase SKATE Edge Doordash rewards... It's $45.00 pre-tax, tip, & *reduced or eliminated DD* fees. If I didn't have the Slate Edge + Dashpass, it would've been $56.00(ish) pre-tip. Compared to area Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and Kentucky Fried Chicken... Bojangles blows them all our of the water, though. The quality & consistency *does* reflect in the price, but it's still "fast food" and shouldn't cost *more* than eating at a "mid", but fresh restaurant. "I've never had Bojangles am not at all a fast food person. I tried Popeyes twice in our area and both times it was disgusting. I used to like KFC (mostly for the sides) but haven't been to one in years, so I figured it would be fun to order a family pack with just white meat. I got the tenders and the classic fried chicken. It was AMAZING. My teen HATES fried chicken (which is why I got the tenders), but he actually ate some and came back for more. I wanted to try all the sides without altering them and was really impressed with the stuff I thought I'd like the least. The rice is DELICIOUS with just enough flavor. The green beans were good, but I could have used a little less "smokey" flavor. Still great. Cole slaw was excellent (I'm VERY picky about Cole slaw and only like the shredded) and tasted homemade.
