"Nearly every time I've ordered the half& half 10 Pieces Dark Chicken or even the 10 Piece all Fried Chicken it's been great! What sets this Chicken apart from other restaurants is the marinated meat. The flavor is deep within the meat, so it's much better than just the tastiness being only in the outer crust. But this was one of the few times that there wasn't much flavor in the baked pieces, but no flavor at all in the Fried chicken, in fact was rather bland tasting. That's very disappointing because the flavor in the meat is why I ordered from Golden Chick. So based upon the average of times I've ordered, I would still recommend them. I realize every business is trying to save money and so they may take short-cuts effecting the quality. With all things being possible, I'm guessing it wasn't marinated as long or at all. At some point I'll try them again, but with the rising cost, I expect the known quality flavor to be good every time, not hit & miss!"
