It was bitter w/ an even more bitter aftertaste. It tastes like they either didn't prepare it right or used an old one, or one that went bad...I don't think I'll ever risk ordering the Sea Urchin Gunkan* (1pc) from this location again. "The consistency in quality in all but my regular order of the dinner combination is beyond excellent every time. The staff makes sure you don't just receive quality but generous amounts & I honestly feel like they care about the orders they send out. Without question on of my favorite places. "

"If it's prefaced by spicy it just means they added sriracha to the roll, there is a copious amount of rice, sloppily rolled, not a lot of fish. The scallop is really rubbery and off putting. This is my second time trying them and it was really not edible on both occasions. If you like good fish and balanced rolls do not waste your money here. "

For $16.50 you get four pieces – one bite pieces. That's way too expensive for what you get. It was tasty and fine and I liked it, but I would never pay that much money for it. I would order there again, but I would be cautious to make sure you're getting enough value. I don't mind over paying a little bit, but this was ridiculous. The Ramen was wonderful and totally worth it! I will probably order again, but will try some other places out as well."

"Solid fish but the rolls are sloppy. Nothing was tightly wrapped. Sushi burrito was loosely wrapped and not completely filled. The Cucumber Lover roll was very good but also fell apart; had to eat it with my hands. The sauce that comes with it was tasty but only about 2 teaspoons. They should have not been THAT stingy with it. The pieces are on the smaller side, but I think that worked in their favor or I would have not been able to pick it up at all. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice is one rice patty, like a fast food hash brown. Then they put avocado and spicy tuna across it, then cut it. So you're not getting as crunchy a piece, unless it's an end. It's not better, or worse, just different.. I would order from here again because the price is lower for a decent quality, but keeping in mind that the portions are less. Also, only if eating at home, because it's messy. However, it won't be my go-to unless they drop the price to something that wows me; and, also, start to work on tightening up the wraps. I wonder if it's to male them look fuller. I think tighter would make them appear much smaller..."

"Ive been looking for a good poke place nearby that has a lot of options and doesnt charge you extra for every additional topping or sauce flavor. Not only did here check both boxes, but their portions were quite large, and most importantly the food was delicious!! Fresh fish (I got salmon, ahi, and spicy tuna), all of my fave toppings (including corn, ginger, edamame, and all the crunchies), and no limit on sauces (I like to mix a few). I also got an Albacore Hand Roll which was a really great price for fresh fish and avocado in LA (for reference, great white in larchmont once charged me $6 just to add avo to my breakfast burrito - this cost less than that add on!). It only came with soy sauce which (as a sauce girl) would have been a little bland for my taste, but I just added some ponzu from my poke bowl to it and was quite happy! Will definitely be ordering from here again!"
