I expected the soup to be miso, but it had more of a ginger taste than miso. A surprise there. The seaweed salad, side salad, and fried rice was good. The yum yum sauce seemed a little watered down, but still alright. Now for the proteins. "They" (whether Door Dash or Shogun) offered an option on how I liked my steak. I picked "Blue Rare" but unfortunately, I received a well-done filet mignon with a little bit of pink, not enough to say medium-well, and after giving it a few chance bites, I found myself tired of chewing. The meat had an off taste, and now I wonder if it was old meat as well though I can't be sure. The shrimp was also overcooked & chewy. However, the scallops were tender, and with enough yum yum sauce, was delicious. I hope others have a better experience than I, though I would be reluctant to order again."

This was the star of the meal and absolutely worth revisiting. 2. Smoky Turkey Leg: This was another highlight. The sauce was delicious, the meat was tender and falling off the bone, and the portion size was generous. If you’re a turkey leg fan, this is a must-try. 3. Sweet Potato Pie: The flavor was unique, with an intriguing spice (possibly nutmeg or ginger) standing out. While the flavor was good, the portion size for $6 felt underwhelming. The Mediocre: 1. I moved to Texas expecting bold flavors and big portions, because they say everybut tBIG HERE! Well ifound out quickly that's a lie. This meal fell short in both categories, especially compared to the establishme I frequent back in Ohio, where seasoning & portion is key. I love supporting local businesses, and I don’t mind paying for great food, but this just didn’t feel worth the $85 (Door Dash). Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for the full meal experience. However, if you’re craving Sweet & Spicy wings fried hard or a smoky turkey leg, those are definite standouts and worth every bite!!"
