However, I was very disappointed with what I got: for paying $16.99 plus an additional $1.80 for a second patty, plus an additional $4.19 for a drink only to get a drink the size of a kid's meal anywhere else & to have my Build Me Up Burger burnt & lettuce that looked like it had started to turn before they put it on my burger, which also had a soggy lower bun, as well as the amount of fries I received for paying so much in no way felt worth it. I would like to add that, while the amount of fries made me feel cheated, they tasted SPECTACULAR. Not too salty & not overcooked. And the meat they used for the Build Me Up Burger , the parts that were not burnt tasted very good. "Hamir's is, by far, the best Indian restaurant in York. And, in my experience, the best in the entire area. I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, so I always ask for a spice level of zero. I've been trying to find a Butter Chicken with a true creamy butter red gravy and this one delivers. The other restaurants in York make a thick chunky brown variation that is just not what I like. Lamb Kadai was "fire" and very flavorful according to my husband. I love that they offer a kids menu, my son really liked the shrimp Kids Hakka Noodles.
