Farewell Lebanese Taverna - you were good for many years - and hello District Falafel. If the quality stays like my meal tonight, you will be my go to Mediterranean restaurant. I thought the Mujarada (Lentil & Rice with Caramelized Onion) was well seasoned, but the portion was a bit small. However, the salad and okra it comes with make it well worth the price. As for the Baba Ghannouj, I really enjoyed it and thought the extra sumac and pomegranate seeds were a nice touch. I kind of wish it came with a bit more bread, but I could have easily eaten it all by itself. My only complaint is that the Baklava is fairly small for its price.
