The Grouper with mixed vegetables was a standout, and the sides were fresh and tasty. The Gumbo was full of meat and seafood with a rich, hearty roux, and had a nice portion size. The Fried Jumbo Calamari Ring was a bit of a letdown because the Calamari wasn't cleaned properly, still had a piece of that plastic-like cartilage in every bite that should have been removed prior to breading (if you have never experienced this, it's a little like the clear plastic strap sewn into a blouse to keep it on a hanger). The calamari flavor was good and was cooked correctly otherwise, they were the size of large onion rings. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place, but I won't try the calamari again unless someone else orders it."
