"The lamb Biryani was ok. Very one note. Asked for medium spicy and it was not spicy at all. Most of the rice was broken and in smaller pieces. Not too much lamb for like $24? Missing a lot of herbs like coriander and lemon etc. Paneer Paratha was ok. Regular plain paratha would have been fine. The Saag Paneer and Tadka Yellow Dal were good."

"My top favorite Indian restaurant in DC! Finding South Indian flavors is so difficult, and while Vegz not only gets the crispy MYSORE MASALA DOSA(V/GF) right, they nail the coconut chutney! The POORI BHAJI (V) had just the right tang to the curry, and the CHOLE PURI (V) was rich. DAL MAKHANI (V/GF) was creamy and just delightful!"

But I counted probably only 6 pieces of chicken in the actual stew, which was pretty disappointing for the price. The Aaloo Tikki was a new try for me. After googling what it was, I expected potato cakes with some sort of a dipping sauce onthe side. What I got was a chickpea stew with 2 breaded potato cakes inside it. It was garnished with pomegranate seeds, which I didnt care for. Wouldnt order this dish again. The Tandoori Wings were really good! Lots of flavor and very tender! The Lamb Vindaloo was spicy and flavorful, but again, portion size for the price is lacking. "

The lamb seekh kebab was only available as an entree. But what really disappointed me was the vindaloo, my go to Indian dish for the last 30 years.
