"This was amazing! I'm visiting LA, and this was a place I'd always wanted to try when I came. The chicken is crispy and juicy. The gravy was flavorful and bold. The waffles were so fluffy and they were slightly sweetened, so you didnt need syrup, but the syrup was delicious, too. Would definitely eat there again. "

"Thumbs down is harsh but this was a big disappointment from an LA classic. I had tried the G. Big Mamma Special decades back and either I had a less educated palette back then or they've cheapest out on it. With the cheesey eggs, I remember more actual cheese than what tastes like the same sauce they probably use on Mac and Cheese and one that other soul food restaurants here do better. The biscuit, however, was nice and fluffy, not the hockey puck so many places try to pass off. The gravy actually had potatoes in it, not a bad thing at all. It's fine I guess but I only had a few bites."

"Pattaya's yellow curry is my favorite meal, no joke. I would eat it every day if I could afford it. I usually get it with tofu or chicken. I like that they have the option to adjust the spice level. The portion of curry is huge. I always run out of rice so I should probably just get 2. My only wish is for more potatoes, otherwise this is the perfect yellow curry of my dreams :)))"

"While I love the flavor of the Sweet & Salty Garlic Boneless , the chicken pieces were drowning in the sauce, and not only it was making the chicken pieces soggy, the sauce was coming out of the container. It was a good thing the box was inside a plastic bag, otherwise the sauce would be all over the place."

"BB.Q Chicken is known for their crispy chicken, so I was so disappointed when my order came and my Galbi Wings were soggy. It wasn't a matter of the wings being in a plastic bag, because I've ordered them from other locations and they were crispy for days. Either this location didn't dry the wings well enough during the dredging process or didn't fry/let them drip long enough and rushed the order because the DoorDasher was waiting. It wasn't an off day either, since my order the previous day was soggy too. Really hoping they improve, so I can continue to get my craving fix. Steamed Rice was on point, though, so I guess that's a plus."
