"The Shioyaki Saba (GF) is so so tasty! It's so stinky but the sweet soy sauce and the grated daikon is just phenomenal with the mackerel. I love the Potato chips (GF)(V) because they're a perfect blend of sweet and umami, with a little vinegary salty something too, very crunchy! The Brisket-Don is quite dry but still really tasty, the rice takes on a lot of flavor from the meat and it's really nice, just wish it had a sauce or something to offset the dryness. I've had one of the ramen bowls and it was really great, the gluten free noodles survived after being delivered which is astounding to me! I think they really shine with their entrees, though I haven't had a lot of their appetizers. Had to wait a little while but in all honesty, it was a weekend night and the restaurant was very crowded (always a good sign for a new restaurant). "I was hesitant to try this place for a while given that it had few reviews and appeared to be a ghost kitchen. I was shocked by how good it was. The Palata (burmese style pancake) (2pcs) is absolutely divine. It melts in your mouth with a buttery crispness. Lamination was great. One of the best appetizers I've had in a long time in Utah. The Shan Noodle Toke was aromatic and had a wonderful panoply of greens, peanuts and textural variety. The beef was tender and had a nuanced flavor profile. It sent me back to memories of some of the best street-food noodle stands in Southeast Asia. The California Roll was above-average, and the size of each roll was rather large with a very generous portion (rice to ingredient filling was larger). Better than expected. The Cucumber Salad is a lot sweeter than the cucumber salad I am accustomed to in Mainland China or Taiwan but was delicious nonetheless. The cucumbers are finely sliced and it served as an excellent counterpoint to the abundance of carbs. Utah is incredibly privileged to finally have Burmese food, and even more, Burmese food that holds its own to what I've had in cities like Los Angeles. The prices to quality ratio is unbeatable and also incredibly fair for this economy, especially compared to other DoorDash options. I highly recommend this restaurant to the DoorDashians of Utah. "

The Veggie & The California rolls are at least twice the size I'm used to seeing at other places. The crown jewel of my order, though, is the Poke Bowl. Being from Hawaii, my Poke Bowl standards are high. Hands down, this is the biggest Poke Bowl I have gotten in town to date. Forget what you think you know about Poke bowls from other places, Eiko swamps them by a mile. ALL the essentials you look for in a Poke bowl and none of the useless filler you find everywhere else. The pad Thai noodles were too thick, (al dente)- beef was tender, smallish bite sized, sauce is good, but the whole portion was too small. (even with extra beef). Next time I will skip the salad, get a full portion. A Thai Restaurant entree would be 4-6 times more big!"

"the hand made tortilla i ordered with my fries, I can only describe how i could imagine a corn tortilla soaked up a bunch of water and was left to dry would taste and feel like. the fries I ordered came with unseasoned, flavorless meat. the meats texture was wonderful, but it was bland. the fries were unsalted and bland as well, and the cheese that was on it i could not taste. I have never had a meal that made me feel like I could get more flavor from colored paper. my fiance ordered the birria quesadilla and was just as unhappy with the bland and unseasoned meat and cheese they packed on it. a great loss of nearly $50. the only decent part of the meal was the horchata. very disappointed given how excited we were to try this place. if I could give zero stars, I would. save your money and buy from literally anywhere else.
