The Carolina's Chocolate Cake had a lot of holes in it indicating that the batter wasn't thoroughly mixed. "I really enjoy The Victorian, and this was my third time ordering from them. It was my first time ordering through DoorDash, and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with how the food arrived.
The hash brown was extremely cold, old, and overcooked to the point that I couldn’t eat it at all. I took one bite and had to immediately discard it, which honestly felt like a waste of money.
The sandwich itself was mediocre at best. I usually only order coffee from The Victorian and decided to try one of their sandwiches this time. It just didn’t live up to the quality I expected based on my past visits.
I also ordered a latte and received what felt like about 50 percent foam. There was so much cold foam that after I set the cup down, the foam just sat there for hours without really going down.
I was disappointed because I do genuinely enjoy their drinks. I was hoping that having them available on DoorDash would make it easier for me to order since they are a bit far from my location. I like the coffee, but the driving distance isn’t very convenient for me.
I’m not sure if I will be ordering again through DoorDash, but I do hope the quality improves because I have enjoyed their drinks in the past."
