"I had the Mix & Mix & Match with beef ribs, collards, fried fish, potato salad & sweet potatoes. The ribs were beyond tender, they fell right off the bone and were seasoned just right. The fried fish was equally as good. The sweet potatoes had too much cinnamon for my taste, buts thats just me. The potato salad was good, but some of the potatoes were a tad crunchy, but it tasted great nonetheless. I would not hesitate ordering this entire meal again, I'm very satisfied, I even have enough left over for tomorrow. Although I ordered take out I would sit in, the restaurant was clean and has ample seating. Staff was polite & friendly. See you again soon!"

"The Large Chitterling Platter was mostly hog maws and not chitterlings. And for it to be large and for the price it was in a small bowl. The fish was soggy with no seasoning The yams/sweet potatoes was like biting into a mouthful of pure sugar and cinnamon nutmeg... way too much The homemade cornbread was very good. Unfortunately I would not order from here again."

"The Chicken Fresh Chicken Croquettes were great and they gave me the extra gravy they I requested! I love their creamed coleslaw and had a huge dinner! The dinner salad was enormous and I saved it for lunch tomorrow since I was so full. I asked for Slice of Strawberry/Cherry/Blueberry Cheese cake but they gave me a slice of apple pie instead, which was okay. "I have been to Stratford Diner many times but not lately because of my handicaps. They always do over easy eggs perfectly and this was no exception. I especially like that theScrapple and Eggs are so great! The scrapple is never fried hard and black, but done just right with the inside soft the way it is meant to be. "5 Stack (5 pancakes) were a little dry and for some reason there were 3 pieces of Walnuts stuck to one pancake, very questionable as to where the pancakes were before going into the box, but thankfully, no one is allergic to nuts. Steak Tip Skillet is delicious and filling as always. So much food and worth the original price of $15, hard to swallow the extra $2 menu price just because of needing delivery from doordash."
