"This was my first time ordering from here since it was no longer V&S n I must say WOW I was very impressed! The roll on my Gizmo alone was amazing! They give good portion sizes n have a pretty large variety of items. The only thing that I couldn't find on the menu that was there during previous overs was the beloved cheese whiz used for cheese fries n some places in cheese steaks. But in no way did this place disappoint. I will definitely be ordering from here again n would love to try a numerous of their different items. I'm not sure if it's just on this app but I know I wasn't able to leave the way on how I take my sandwiches. It wasn't a huge deal that I had to just take off the onions n whatever toppings I personally am not a fan of. Rellenos de papa were fine but either they weren't freshly made or the travel time for delivery made the bag very greasy. probably better eaten immediately. the cherry juice was great. "We havent had Alebrije in a long time. We needed dinner ,& ran out of time to cook. We were starving ,& wanted good food , not food that was going to make us feel terrible afterwards . We chose Alebrije because aside of one trip, weve always had good food from there! I got a Combo 2 (1 beef, soft taco, 1 chicken burrito ,& a chicken enchilada. )Due to the delivery driver not following instructions, our food sat outside for around 40 mins before we got to eat it. So, my taco was soggy ..but the cheese was melted so good. I enjoyed the burrito & enchilada! I also really like their chips dipped in the melted cheese , beans,& rice. My husband got combo #2 (chille relleno , beef enchilada ). The chille relleno (which is usually his favorite) was under cooked. The flavor was off. The rice was good, but he thinks it is different than before. Overall, we do like Alebrije & would recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.
