"Very disappointed with the quality of this restaurant. First, I want to clarify that this has nothing to do with the DoorDash driver. The delivery was fine. My issue is entirely with the restaurant. I ordered two sancocho de gallina, which is supposed to be a traditional Colombian soup with hen, potatoes, corn, plantain, and a rich broth. What I received looked nothing like the pictures they advertise. Instead, they sent a small container mostly full of cooked plantain with broth and almost no meat or proper ingredients. It was absolutely not a real sancocho. The packaging was also very poor, and the portion was extremely disappointing for the price. What they show in the photos online is completely different from what they actually send. To make matters worse, when I called and spoke with the manager, the response was very unprofessional. I was told that because I chose delivery instead of picking up the order, DoorDash should handle the complaint. That makes no sense because DoorDash did not cook the food — the restaurant did. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. The same issue occurred last week, where the food delivered was nothing like what was advertised or what I paid for. The passion fruit mousse tastes like it’s made from powder juice and jelly, the texture is not moussy, yet firm, and the taste is sour but nothing like passion fruit. The coconut flan tasted like plastic, like it had been sitting on the fridge on a open container and it accumulated the taste of the fridge air. Very sad with this order, it was disastrous. The ham and cheese croquette was good, I would say because the cheese gives that moist necessary and ham’s got natural liquid in it.
