Toppings on both pizzas were just piled on there instead of being layered properly, so nothing cooked right. All around just bad pizza preparation, it's a shame with how much they charge too. Shouldve just gone with our usual spot. They also gave the wrong breadsticks with the order. Wrong Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie was given too. "This was one of the worst dinners I've ever experienced at a Chinese restaurant. Eggrolls: I have no idea how they could call these eggrolls. When I took them out of the wax paper wrapper, my fingers got soaked with oil. They were not completely fried. When I bit into one of them, there was barely any filling. Most of it was cabbage and maybe some carrots. I did see a LOT of the rolled wrapper...there was more wrapper than ingredients. Among the worst eggrolls I've ever had. Hot and Crispy Beef: VERY oily...strange taste. This was strips of beef that appeared to be battered and in a brown sauce. This was NOT hot (spicy), which it what I thought Hunan cuisine was supposed to be. There was a LOT of oil in the sauce. I had been hoping this dish was like the "dry-fried beef" that I've eaten in Chinatown in NYC and San Francisco...thin strips of beef that are fried (most likely deep fried) with no batter, with thinly sliced celery and carrots. The 'dry-fried' beef doesn't have a sauce, but rather a glaze. I was disappointed in Hunan Garden's dish. It was not flavorful at all. Beef with Orange Flavor: I think I got gipped on the beef in this dish. There was maybe 8 or 9 slices of battered, deep-fried beef. I think I saw one little piece of orange peel. This dish seemed to have more oil than sauce. There were some pieces of broccoli that were sitting soaking up the oil. When I was cleaning up later there were clumps of ... well not sure ... perhaps cornstarch at the bottom of the container. Fried Rice: This was probably the best tasting of the experience. Lots of pork, bean sprouts, and other fried rice ingredients. But even this dish suffered from being way too dry. It's like it needed more sauce (NOT oil). It could have used some more soy sauce. I doubt I would give this restaurant another chance, unless they compensated the meal and tried to improve what I ate last night! "

I was expecting something along the line of the Cobb salad I always used to order from another chain restaurant.. I wasn't prepared for what was delivered . Basilicos Cobb can be nothing more than freshly made at the order...the greens are the best Ive ever had in a salad of any kind, the flavor was only enhanced by the bacon, (real), the red onions, egg,olives( which are a slightly salty perfect addition, the chicken , which is moist and adds to the flavor mix.. I've ordered twice from this little gem of a restaurant.. the salad is perfect every time.. my latest order included Apple bread pudding, and Im in heaven! A huge piece of the dessert, so moist and with a subtle sweetness....I will be ordering again, branching out into their other signature offerings.... It like a little piece of NY has been transported to Virginia... Its really that special...."

They aren't as soft and doughy as usual garlic knots are but they weren't burnt or rock hard either. They Zeppoles are like beignets and came with 6. I requested extra sauce and powdered sugar, so if you want something similar be sure to make the request and modify it to your liking. Overall good portions that could use more flavor. I would not be opposed to purchasing again. They don't have a lot of drink options so I opted for the Diet Coke but I'm not sure what they offer in store. I would love to try these things when they are hot and fresh as well as they were picked up quickly but around room temperature when they arrived. I was disappointed in the small amount of wasabi provided for 3 rolls, it was barely what I would expect to get for 1, plus the 3 rolls were for 3 different people so it bugged me that they were packed in 1 container. The Yum Yum sauce wasn't bad but wasn't the flavors I expected. I'd order again, some repeats but definitely need to find the right roll to replace my go to spicy tuna next time."
