"Every showed up super hot and fresh! The 51. Yellow Curry is my fav with it filled with great port of choice of protein, I chose beef, lots of potatoes and carrots and just enough onions. Spice level was exactly mild like I asked, some places will put no spice if you choose mild but they did great! The 30. Pad Thai was served beautifully with lots of fresh sprouts and crushed peanuts. Again, great size portion of chosen protein, I chose chicken and beef. The chicken and beef were both cooked perfectly! Not overdone, dry or chewy but just right and juicy. The noodles cooked just right with lots of flavor and spices making you wantto eat more even once you're too full! Pad Thai had just the right amount of sauce, as some places make it too dry and lack of sauce and flavor. Prices for delivery are some of the best around town when it comes to Thai food. "I love Thai food and have tried nearly every Thai restaurant in HB. Lawa stands out because their cooking is *homemade* and full of flavor, not bland or watered down flavor wise. Yellow Curry was interesting. I've never had bell peppers in my Thai yellow curry before, but it was a pleasant surprise since I love veggies. The only not great was the chicken meat. It didn't taste like real chicken or high quality so I'll be skipping chicken as my protein next time. Roti was 👍 Also ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu. I liked that they used Chinese broccoli (and not cheap regular broccoli) and it, along with the carrots, appeared to be grilled prior to cooking with the noodle, which added more flavor. The tofu was actually the best part because it wasn't pre-made fried tofu. See my pics. I enjoyed it and I'm not a big tofu fanatic. Overall, pad see ew was good enough and different than how the other local Thai restaurants make it so I'll likely be trying other dishes from Lawa Thai soon."

"The Egg Fried Rice had the best flavor for the price but the quantity you get is a bit low. The Eggplant with Basil Leaves tasted very good would definitely order it again. The Green Curry was supposed to be made extra spicy as requested but tasted almost sweet to the taste not spicy at all. The Pad Kee Mao tasted good but wasn't spicy as requested! Every entree I ordered to be hot spicy was marked to no spicy on the copy of the receipt! "They charged me for brown rice and then gave me white rice. The Tom Kha soup is amazing but almost double the price of competing restraunts. The Crab Rangoon was quite good but dont expect to taste any crab its mainly cream cheese. The quality of the Orange Chicken was good and it was tasty but the sauce is better at Thai Chili. Sadly the quality of the chicken is less at thai chili. The Chicken Pad Thai is good but it's better and cheaper at Thai Chili which is literally down the street. The Yellow Curry here was impressive and to hard to rate vs others I would order it again. As I think back at this entire massive meal the Tom Kha soup is what I'll remember the most. It wasn't as fulfilling as others meaning it had less things in it and less quantity of what was in it...only a few mushrooms but the taste was ultra rich and slightly thick. That paired with the Yellow Curry is probably the best choices. None of the food was bad Thai Chili is just better for most things."
