"Order from here. The food is amazing and the prices are ridiculous low for how much food they give and the quality. I ordered a few things cause half the stuff they had ive never seen at any of the other indian places ive eaten. The samosas were stuffed with fluffy flavorful potatoes and bigger than i anticipated considering the price, crisp on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside. Ive never heard of Dahi Vada Papri but damn was that delicious. Had so many flavors and textures but they all worked well together. The curry was phenomenal and I was pleased that even though I didnt know what curry I was getting they were both delicious and filling! The mango lassi was sweet and refreshing and I was shocked at how much food I got with the Combo #3 considering the price. Lastly the dessert I got was the Ras Malai (1 pc) which was another dish ive never had before but i am hooked, was a spongey cheese that soaked up all the sweet and spiced milk that was so delicious! I will say if you aren't a more adventurous eater dont get it the texture may be off putting for some but I loved it and the flavors made it worth the initial wariness I had with the texture. Overall this place is a 100/10 I definitely recommend. "

"This was my first time trying India's Clay Pit, and it was excellent! We had the Sag Aloo and Paneer Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan and Vegetable Samosas. Everything was delicately spiced, not too oily or salty, just really well done. Samosas come in an order of two, again very nicely spiced and perfectly crispy but not oily. Rice came with the order. My dad had an Indian restaurant growing up, so I do consider myself something of a connoisseur... and this was such a satisfying meal. I can't wait to come back."

Despite having the food delivered one city over, the food was hot which was a huge plus! Naan tasted good and worth trying. But I'm not sure it's made from scratch like another place I go to in Culver City. The 46. Vegetable Tikka Masala was good but slightly thicker and sweeter than I would have liked. But a little salt helped bring out the flavor! I ordered it Medium spicy which gives it a good kick! So I'm glad I didn't order it any spicier. Just seems like there were certain flavors that were possibly missing (for me). But it accompanied my 62. Plain Rice nicely. The dish just tasted a bit more "Americanized" than I would have liked. Although this place didn't quite make the 5-star mark (for me), it's still a solid place. Food was still pretty good, and I'd likely order here again. Also, to have prices be this high and for the Chicken Tikka Masala not to come with rice is incredibly disappointing. I LOVE this dish from this restaurant.
