I ordered both the Potato & Egg Salad & the Loaded Potato Salad, so I could try both. They were both great! Just depends if you're craving a creamy mustard/sour cream dressing with egg or more of a mayo base with bacon, parsley & shredded cheddar. There is no bad choice! I also tried the Italian Pasta Salad... great too, with chunks of cheese, pepperoni & red pepper. I saw a complaint about the pricing vs portion. I disagree. Their sandwiches aren't huge, but are priced VERY appropriately given the size. Sandwiches from local chain places run about $18. This was $11. Having all the sides, I could only ate half of The Horse! Let's face it; we all eat too much but just order two sandwiches if your appetite is larger than mine. You'll get to try more options that way. Roast beef was fresh & rare, just as it should be! I asked for the horsey mayo on the side (my instructions followed to a "T"), in case the horseradish flavor was strong but it wasn't. Perfectly blended with the mayo, to be mild. The Chocolate Chip Banana has a VERY sweet filling. Since I'm full, I only tried a bite in order to review but I will probably thin out the filling so I can taste more of the cookie. But it's good! I also got The Vermonter for lunch tomorrow, so have not tried it yet. But it looks equally delicious. Glad I gave Joey's Market a shot. It's going on the favorites list!"

"I had a very disappointing and honestly disturbing experience at this restaurant. I was served a glass of water that had a bright pink lipstick stain around the rim, clearly someone else’s. This is a serious sanitation issue and completely unacceptable. I brought it to the waiter’s attention and asked if they could speak to the owner about offering a discount for the inconvenience. When the check came back, it was $65 with only a $6 discount, which did not reflect the severity of the issue. I then spoke to the owner directly, hoping for a more reasonable resolution. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner was extremely rude. She threw my card at me and told me I should leave. When I tried to calmly ask why she was behaving that way, she ignored me and continued with an attitude. What made it worse is that she never even apologized for the fact that I was served a dirty glass. I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and would have been willing to overlook the mistake if they had simply shown proper customer service, a sincere apology and a fair resolution. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully for raising a legitimate health concern. I will never return, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness and basic respect for customers should be the bare minimum."
