"The restaurant is named Mala town but there is no mala flavor. There is an overwhelming amount of sesame paste in my dish making it completely unpalatable. This does not resemble mala or sichuan cuisine in the least. They packed my $40 order into two tiny containers. I ordered Korean rice cakes as the base and they out 5 single thumb size rice cakes in the entire dish. The seafood is so over cooked and rubbery it cannot be eaten. Only giving it a 2 because some of the items are not too bad, but I would absolutely caution people not to order from this restaurant. Their 4.9 rating on google is most likely paid for. So disappointing. Nowhere near authentic and a horrible decision on my part, especially considering I was starving today. Please do better to reflect real Chinese cuisine. "
