"I grew up with Sals and it has always been one of my favorites. The problem is, their prices are astronomically high. Two pizza's with two toppings is over $50, while others in the area are $35-$40. I get inflation and fresh ingredients, but come on, we're not talking about fine dining, it's pizza. With that said, their pizza is like home to me, so I'll still order a few times a year. Its dough is crispy, yet fluffy. The sauce is real, not paste and it has chunks of delicious tomato's. The cheese is real mozzarella not a mix, so it just comes out cooked to perfection. The toppings are always fresh, but their sliced sausage is the only sausage I like on pizza. They just do a great job."
