Popeyes is far better quality, freshness and flavor. It's unfortunate however that since Popeyes has updated their look and rebuilt a lot of their stores, the quality has not remained consistent. For example, I always loved the spicy chicken sandwich. But the last several times I've had it, it wasn't as good. I've seen where they barely put any sauce on it (spicy mayo) and I've gotten it where it looks like it was stepped on before they wrapped it and sent it out. Lately it seems like their sandwiches are microwaved or something. Not as good as it always was. I'll still order from them from time to time but it's no longer a go to for me."

"I loved the location in Manhattan, so I was excited to see I can order delivery from the other locations now. Surprisingly, the chicken arrived crispy even though the delivery took about an hour and had another stop along the way. The Crispy Spicy Fried Wings wasn't as spicy as the ones I had in the Manhattan, but they were still delicious. I did order both the spicy and regular, but they didn't label the boxes. That's one thing I would suggest they do. My grandma doesn't eat spicy, so I had to taste test to make sure before sharing some with her. However, my spice tolerance is pretty high. Since the spicy was just a kick, I was a bit uncertain of which ones to give my grandma. It worked out in the end though. The chicken I ordered also had the option to include pickled radish, which I love. I said yes to both orders of chicken. They ended up coming with small containers of their corn salad in addition to the radish, which was also delicious. I love that I get to try it before ordering the full size. Now that I know it's good, I won't be hesitant on ordering it next time. "When most of the diners around the area plummeted in their food quality because of flation and post pandemic food depression, I was so happy and surprised that they haven't here.
Their portions are generous and they use clean oil. The Cheeseburger was perfect. The bun they use is high restaurant quality, the burger meat was cooked right, it's fresh, juicy, and meaty. It came with 2 big slices of juicy red tomatoes and actual fresh green leafy lettuce, not the cheap iceberg kind everybody uses.
The Prime Rib French Dip was generously portioned with piled high meat and cheese. The only issue I had with this that it was very salty. The bread was soft and crusty on the outside. Wonderful texture and flavor.
The fries were great, you can tell that they clean their oil daily because the fries looked clean and not tanned from old oil. You can also smell and taste that the fries were not over fried. Everywhere else always over fry and over salt it too much. I like how they didn't do that here. Awesome.
The Mashed Potato was a pleasant surprise. It's actual hand mashed little red potatoes! Loved it.
This is my personal new favorite diner now. Thank you for keeping the prices fair but importantly delivering on quality which rarely exists now.
Last thing, I really like that they don't over use those one time use plastic containers/packages that are horrible for the environment. "

We also ordered Brioche French Toast for my son and he loved it. I had a piece too and it was very good.
