The batter is soaked in fish juice? and is tasteless. Speaking of tastless...I ordered Calamari rings too....1 they were burnt and 2...it tasted and smelt off. Maybe they thought burning the Calamari would take away the off taste... but it didn't. I did have good chips and fritters though, as well as battered sausages as crabsticks,but the Fish and Calamari rings....were a major let down. I've removed from my favourites list as its happened 1 too many times. So the search for a good Fried Fish continues. ( sorry kiwis)"
