I hadn't had an Americano coffee in a very long time either and I was really craving that taste; so I was smart and ordered two - one to drink with the Ham, Egg and Cheese Croissant and the other to enjoy later.
AND I ordered two pastries - one blueberry scone and one strawberry cream danish. Both were spectacular. I had the strawberry cream danish for "dessert" after the croissant, and the blueberry scone later in the day with my 2nd Americano. I was in hog heaven!! I was especially pleased with the blueberry scone; I've often had scones that looked good but turned out to be dry and had a mealy texture. And even though I ate Maleko's blueberry scone a few hours after it was delivered, it tasted as fresh as if it just cooled coming out of the oven.
I'm definitely going to be ordering more from Maleko. What a talented pastry chef we are fortunate to have here in Honolulu! Congratulations on such delicious results of your hard work."
