I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent takeout order we received from your restaurant through DoorDash. Fogo de Chão has always been known for its high standards and exceptional quality, which is precisely why we chose to order from you. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the reputation your establishment typically carries.
The picanha and lamb we received was significantly overdone and not prepared according to the doneness we requested. This was especially disappointing because picanha is one of the signature cuts your restaurant is known for, and proper preparation is essential to the experience. Instead of the flavorful, tender cut we expected, the meat was dry and lacked the quality we associate with your brand.
Additionally, the portion sizes were extremely small considering the price of the meal. The overall order felt overpriced for the quantity and quality we received. When customers choose to spend a premium on a meal from a restaurant like Fogo de Chão, we expect the food to reflect that value. In this case, it simply did not.
This was a costly meal that ultimately felt like a poor value and a major letdown. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review the quality control of takeout orders leaving your kitchen. At the very least, I would appreciate your attention to this issue and an explanation of how situations like this will be addressed moving forward.
