The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

Additionally, the Tandoori Roti seemed to be made with more white flour than wheat flour, which I didn't enjoy, and it too was overly oily. In another separate order, we tried the Navratan Korma, which was also excessively greasy. I wish they would use less oil in their cooking; I prioritize both taste and health when dining out. "I’ve been ordering from Indian Hut since 2017, and it’s still one of my absolute go-to spots. The food has been consistently excellent for years. Fresh, flavorful, and made with care, not rushed or sloppy. A few favorites I keep coming back to: the Veg Grilled Cheese Panini, Dal Makhani, and Hakka Noodles. And honestly, what really sets this location apart are their “Norristown Special” dishes. They don’t feel like random menu add-ons. They taste like true chef specials. I’ve been trying my way through them and I’m genuinely impressed. Every time I think I’ve found my favorite, the next one surprises me. What makes Indian Hut stand out even more is how they treat customers. Things don’t have to be perfect every single time, but when something is off, they handle it the right way. "I wanted to share some feedback about my recent order. The Paratha , which was supposed to be made with whole wheat flour, seemed to be mostly made of all-purpose flour and was undercooked. Additionally, the Kadai vegetable dish was quite oily and spicier than the medium spice level I selected. I chose to order from here because I’ve enjoyed the food at Bombay Dhaba in Audubon, but this experience at Philly restaurant was disappointing."

Good for kids I guess, and it's not inedible by any means, but $23 dollars for this is whack. Doesn't taste like butter chicken at all. Order something else. "Overall it's a pretty good place to order from. Veggie burger is quite decent; it uses a fried veggie patty. But the veggie burger says it comes with a soda (ordered from lunch menu), but it actually doesn't. I've never received a drink with the burgers I've ordered. I usually get the desi pizza, though to be honest I can't tell a difference between their desi pizza and any other veggie pizza out there...there's no distinct difference in taste. The chaats are also quite good, but could use some more chutneys in my opinion. "

I thought the portion size was great, for myself at least (I am also pregnant lol) so take from that what you will.
