The crab legs were cooked to perfection (didn't even need utensils to crack the crab). The sauce was ridiculously good; it was sweet (not sugar sweet but deliciously sweet). The potatoes and corn were equally delicious. Every time I bit into one of the fried oysters, the juice from within just popped out (not a complaint) again, cooked to perfection and mouth watering. I was actually in a food funk; nothing I thought of seemed appealing so my daughter recommended Hook & Reel; after reading the menu; the fried oysters stood out along with the crab legs so I decided to go with it. At first I thought it was a little pricey but for what I received and the excellence of the food; it was worth every penny. The sauces that accompanied the crab fries and oysters were also very good. "Chicken Cutlet BLT Wrap was 10/10. I got it with regular mayo instead. Extremely filling, comes with huge portion of fries which are delicious, just can be a bit crispier next time. "Just get it now! It taste so good. There's lots of butter, perfect for the mashed potatoes. One time I ordered mashed potato and got rice, I was mad and requested a refund for the rice, but after tasting it, felt bad because even something as simple as rice, tasted so good. It was so seasoned, it made no sense, it's like I could have eaten the rice alone. You could have eaten that rice with anything and it would have elevated the flavor. Their food taste like you cooked it at home yourself. Everything I ate from this place tastes good. I usually try to find places where the food taste fresh and good and this place fits the bill. Try the Salmon Love Affair you won't regret it. Next time they run out of something and substitute I'll just trust their judgement because their food is good. Anything they cook is tasty.
