"I recently tried the Ghee Karam Idly at Vintage Kitchen, and it was a delightful experience. The idlis were soft, fluffy, and served piping hot, generously drizzled with aromatic ghee that elevated the flavor. The karam (spicy podi) had just the right amount of heat — not overpowering, but enough to wake up your taste buds. What impressed me most was the balance between spice and richness, making each bite feel indulgent yet comforting. The accompanying chutneys were fresh and paired well with the dish. Service was prompt and polite, and the packaging (for takeaway) kept the idly intact and warm. "Shrimp Moilee wasn't like the photo at all and had a weird after taste to it. The Butter Chicken sauce was good but what is up with the thin cuts of chicken??? Butter Chicken is usually made with tender cuts of chicken thighs. Chicken was just thin, dry and tasted like store brought cut-up chicken breast. Naan bread was also very soggy at the edges with the way it was packaged. Overall, I would not order from this place again."

"I got my order from my usual Popeye's this time (I think they have been closing earlier for some reason)..ANYWAY, the food was delicious, hot, packaged well and up to Popeye's high standards! "The rice platter was good, the tabouli salad was okay. It had an atypical slighly sweet flavor and the portion was very small. The humus and babaganoush were very good. The rice and mujadras were good. I love their falafels, they remind me of McDonald's and have a fried flavor. I did order grape leaves but they accidentally gave double humus instead. The Fava Beans Platter was different than I was expecting. I would not get it again but appreciate the vegetarian option. It was like the sauce that came with the falafels with beans and tomatos in it. Definitely better to think of as like a sauce than a main dish. "
