"I have to congratulate Piola for doing something pretty difficult, which is make a bad pizza. Eating that pizza literally made me sad. We got a meat lovers pizza and garlic "knots". First off, the dough was burnt around the edges and undercooked in the middle, it was just floppy and sad. The bacon was undercooked and fatty, the ham was in weirdly large cubes, and the rest of the meat was basically flavorless. We paid an extra $2.50 for sun "dried" tomatoes that were cold and soggy like they were just added on at the end, plus they were weirdly large and only like one or two pieces per slice. The "fresh" basil was wilted and flavorless. It was also insulting that a pizza that was less than 12" was $21. The worst part of all was there was just a random piece of thin, wiry plastic randomly in the middle of the pizza. The garlic knots were the only thing that made this meal not entirely depressing. First off, they aren't knots, they're rolls and the flavor was good (if you mess up garlic and parmesean you don't deserve to run a restaurant) but they were cold and stale like they just have a ton sitting around ready and waiting to be ordered. This entire experience was awful from start to finish and if this is how their quality is going to be on a Saturday night then I don't care to ever go back to try ever again. It makes no sense to me how this place has such good reviews, this was literally the worst pizza I have ever ordered. It's strange that the menu is Italian but its actually Cuban. Please do not let the good reviews fool you, DO NOT EAT HERE. Not worth my money"

Being from the Italian section of Boston, I grew up with the best pizza shops on every corner. This is definitely one of the best in Fort Lauderdale, but lately, it's been so inconsistent Usually, the crust is thin and crispy, and the amounts of cheese, oil, and seasonings are just perfect. This only happened a few other times a while ago, but then it went back to normal a few months ago. It happened again today. It definitely didn't taste or look like Dough Boys jumbo slice, except for the size. The dough was so thick, and the crust was thick and raw, as was the cheese and the sauce. I love cheese, but this was over the top inedible. On top of everything else, it was bland. Needless to say, I had a couple of bites but couldn't eat it. They have incredible pizza and ingredients, but they need to show all the help how it's done."
