"I'm skeptical about the authenticity of the positive reviews for this restaurant. I ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma, and Cheese & Garlic Naan, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the Butter Chicken pieces were tiny and indistinguishable from pieces of fat, with a 50/50 ratio that was revolting. The sauce was watered down and unusually thin, with added chili seemingly to mask the lack of flavor. The Lamb Korma was okay and not watered down, but it didn't measure up to the standards of other local curry places. The Cheese & Garlic Naan was undercooked and doughy, leading me to throw it away. Whether it was a new crew or a lack of care from the owners, the food I received was disappointing. I'll be sticking to my local favorites from now on, as this place did not meet expectations at all."

The portion size was great but the salad itself lacked freshness especially the tofu which tasted like it was past use date & the tofu texture was terrible feeling like tough cardboard & way too rubbery. The salad dressing was very unpleasant & very bland but the taste that was there was simply unpalatable ... this dressing seriously not nice at all. I have eaten at another suburb in-house at Fishbowl a few years ago & I absolutely loved all the meals I had at that store at that time but years later ordering home delivery here at this store I was expecting to get the same delightful meals & I was certainly disappointed by the lack of the salad all round. I'm trying to blame my disappointment on myself by suggesting I shouldn't change the ingredients of the salad & simply buy as is (I mean not adding anything more as I did eg. added extra avocado cucumber etc etc) but that shouldn't be the case as I've always added more or less of what I prefer with no issues. So I'm sorry to say that I definitely had a bad tasting salad today & wished it wasn't the case. I will try one more time in the future because as mentioned I really loved these salads years ago. Hopefully the standards haven't dropped since that date with lower quality ingredients & hopefully Fishbowl can take this review as an opportunity to lift the quality back to when it first opened.
