Until COVID, I swear I had never spent more than $6.95 on dinner combinations or $8.95 for quart-size servings, and now, everything has suddenly more than doubled. We rarely ever get to eat out anymore and this is why, because just four short years ago, this same dinner wouldn't have been but maybe $60 or $70. But, then again, the last time I ordered DoorDash, I got 4 bowls from WaWa and that was $65, so I guess it is what it is. Anyway, back to the food: IT IS DELICIOUS! Being from Fort Lauderdale, I think I might be pickier than most, but THIS is what I'm accustomed to. It tasted like "home, sweet home!" Fresh, hot, and all the portions and flavors were spot-on. So, look, I think the negative reviews probably came from people who only leave reviews when things don't go their way, or who want something for free, or even worse, the kind of people who consider Panda Express "good takeout." Yes, some of the reviews literally make that comparison. I would definitely ignore those people. I never leave reviews unless a place really knocks my socks off, and that's exactly what the people at New China did last night.
