"I like the food taste and the dishes here. The only problem is food packaging quality, the Sambar needs to be cooled a bit before being poured into the containers. The plastic container melts before it's delivered."
"Pav Bhaji (2 Pav + 8 oz Bhaji + Onion) is good.
Paneer Butter Masala Has very less paneer and only gravy. Not sure why it is priced higher when compared to other curries if you are serving without paneer in it."

"Great South Indian food - Ordered several times and we like the Chicken Biriyani, Indo Chinese Szechuan fried rice, Chicken 65 among other things. Some things have increased in price dramatically like Garlic Naan - It's almost 2X the price of most top competitors - so we buy North Indian else where now."
"No complaints on the food. Very authentic South Indian/ Chettinad style cuisine. The problem is the cost v/s. quantity of food. Very pricey and not enough food at all. I ordered the porotta combo w/ chicken curry and there was barely enough for 1 person for 1 time let alone leftovers. Lollipops are my favorite, but 16$ for 5 small pieces, not worth it imo. "

"First of all, the packaging is really great, it seemed VERY leak/spill proof which I extremely appreciate. Then there's the food itself... the Butter Chicken is so creamy and delectable, the meat melts in your mouth. the Garlic Naan was perfect as well, the garlic wasn't overpowering but still shows up. can't recommend enough."

"Best indian restaurant in OC! All curries and breads are made to order and you can tell how fresh it is. I constantly am getting this to go because I constantly crave it. I get the Chicken Tikka Masala which has a lot of curry sauce to mix with the rice! Its delicious"
"It was worst indian food I ever had.
Chicken Tandoori was burnt.
Paneer Shahi was below average.
Garlic Naan usually come 2 as meal it was just one and doesn't justify the price.
Kheer was horrible. It was the same boiled rice in sweetened milk.
We end up ordering something else."

"I love this place! We finally found a great india restaurant that is close to our house. The 1. Chicken Tikka Masala was so yummy. The 5. Vegetable Korma had good size chunks of veggies. The 1. "Everything was so delicious as usual. Today we had butter chicken, palak paneer and the vegetable fried noodles. Of course we had plain basmati rice and plain naan. No ginger on the noodles. Rice was so perfectly cooked, hot & fresh. Butter chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection. Palak paneer was spiced perfectly and so much cheese! Finally. That was always my biggest frustration. All of it was good and so fresh. I just wish they would add the chutneys to DD as an option. Called the restaurant and wanted the green mint chutney and the tamarind and they said ok they would add to the order but only gotrhe green one. Too spicy for me but my daughter loved it. Overall, we love this place. "

"The Lamb Biryani was soooo herby and tasty, 10/10, love. The Chana Masala I selected - Mild - just the right amount of heat level for me, delicious! I had it the second day with salmon, for dinner last night, omnom nom that was good. Also, I saw something about Indian Resturants that if they have the proper yogurt that it should be more sour than say yogurt in tzatziki sauce and it did not disappoint in that aspect, it's really cool to experience cultural food that tastes like the food-travelers describe it to taste like! The Mango Lassi was really nice just like it's described with the yogurt on the more sour side, so cool! How can you go wrong with Garlic Naan, mmmm! Yum! Thanks Sattva! Thumbs up!"

"I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala a couple of times before. The flavor is on point but the amount of chicken, bell peppers and onions this time were less than usual.
It was my first time trying their Mango Lassi and it is really good. I would prefer if a wider straw was used tho since it's a mango/yogurt drink that's thicker in consistency."

"Unbelievably outstanding. This was for an office lunch. We ordered multiple items including Korma Curry Samosa (Vegan) burrito, butter chicken, and other dishes. Everything came well packed although not labeled. The spice and flavor levels were out of this world. The samosas were the real star of the meal. The cold chai also was delicious. One person even loved the chole samosa chat. We would definitely order again."

"Hands down the best Indian food in the area. Each dish tastes fresh and unique. The Shahi Paneer was slightly sweet from the cashews and the Dal Makhani was earthy and well-spiced. I also appreciate the variety of breads. I opted for a lighter Tandoori Roti over naan (which is also good)."
"I would love this restaurant even more if they change the portion for Veg Manchurian. It is a small appetizer portion with entree price which I don't think it makes sense at all. Love the dish but I get always disappointed to find out how small the portion is for the price. Also, I hope they will be more consistent with their rice portion per number of entrees that I order as well.

"Fish Tikka Masala was delicious! The fish pieces were soft & cooked perfectly, and the sauce was a great balance of creaminess with spices. The Garlic Naan was thin and flavorful. Everything was a huge portion which we loved. Overall a great meal"
"Paneer Tikka Masala is the best of the lot. Loved it super creamy and tasty. For both Dal and Chana Bhatura it would be better if they grind the vegetables (onion, tomatoes) into a puree so the curry tastes rich and creamy. It's a bit watery and chunky. "Amazing Chicken Biryani and Samosa"
"I ordered the lunch special with butter chicken and shrimp curry..not a fan. I love Indian food but this did not satisfy my craving for it at all. The butter chicken has a strange taste and the shrimp curry has a bazaar gelatinous texture. The samosa was okay. I will not order here again. "

"ordered the butter chicken, black pepper chicken, and paneer Tikka Masala. everything was delicious, the chicken was tender and juicy, the tikka masala was flavorful, the naan was fresh and hot. the portions are very good for the price, will definitely be ordering again"
"I am a big fan of Indian food and this is my go to spot. I always get the black pepper chicken and Algo with a mango lassi. I love the taste of them combined and the portions they give last me really well, and I do love my leftovers. It's always hot when I receive it. Definitely a spot to try and keep under the list."

Gracias Gracias Gracias!!!

"The food was bland, $22 for an order of curry?!? - didn't make sense but I took a chance, and i def regretted it. The Daal Makhani was watery instead of nice and rich and dark, no flavor. The Tofu Masala was sweet rather a rich savory curry, and the Vegetable Samosa were $6 for 2 small pieces! I'm giving two stars because someone did like the Vegetable Biryani, and by like I mean they didn't hate it. Also, they got my order wrong and missed some of my items. "

"My family is always a fan of the food at Saffron Grill. Today, I had an unexpected issue at work and ended up staying late, leaving me without time to prepare dinner. I decided to look on DoorDash and saw that Saffron Grill had a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, so I got 2 Beef Koobideh at an incredible price. My husband and I really enjoyed our delicious dinner. Thank you, Saffron Grill!"
"I had both the Avgolemono Soup and it tasted more like chicken noodle soup. With carrots, green onions parsley, etc. Not a hint of the creamy egg lemon flavor that is avgolemono.
I am Iranian and I do not recommend the fesenjan. It's tart, a little watery. Tadig was covered in sesame seeds and was not fond of that. Go to restaurant that focuses on only Persian food if you are looking to have any dish that isn't kabob."

"the buffet here is AWESOME! The food is genuine Indian; the restaurant is spotless - which I'm very thankful for during covid. They supply gloves and hand sanitizer; and no one is allowed in without a mask. Waiters are on point and seem to know what you need before you even ask for it! For the price, you can't lose. Love the bharta and the saag panner - actually I love it all. For $15.95, per person, this is a great find. AYCE!"
"Really enjoy this place! The first time I ordered CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA CHICKEN TANDOORI SAAG ALOO all medium to medium +. If you are unfamiliar with Indian food, it leans spicy. That said, if you enjoy spice it's very flavorful spicy. I would rate the medium+ as spicy personally & I will adjust according to the dish. The GARLIC NAAN was great with the saucy CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA & SAAG ALOO . Can't go wrong with VEGETBALE SAMOSAS - crispy & delicious with the side sauces. I really appreciate that they wrap the food containers in plastic wrap, very thoughtful as sometimes even properly sealed saucy items can spill on the way. I appreciate the attention to detail in that respect. They also give you a side of lovely sauces & 2 small deserts (I do not know what they are called). The sauces were great! I loved the food from last night so much I ordered again tonight to try different items."

"The food was fantastic! The lamb curry had plenty of meatballs and very tasty. CTM, was different from what iam used to in a good way. Appreciated the chicken tikka on top instaedof mixed in. The rice and naan were delicious, I only wish there was more of both cause the 2 main dishes each could use a thing of rice. Looking forward to my next meal here and trying the lentil soup. "
"The spicy Curry: Chicken Tikka Masala (G,N) was the exact amount of spice that I wanted! The portion size is excellent - enough for two meals or one big meal if I'm extra hungry. I have ordered from here many times and they never disappoint!! (If you get a chance, try anything with the lamb. It is always seasoned to perfection) "

Incredible meat, all the sauces and toppings, and even went ABOVE & BEYOND with my vegetables request. So soo happy I got a large to have leftovers!! Also, called to ask difference between spicy tonkotsu (my usual) and the Taiwanese Spicy and guy on the phone was beyond helpful. 10000% recommend when you need the best shabu fix! "
