Price was right; I ended up paying $14.50 for the sandwich (including .50 for added mushrooms) and one side. A lot of the places on DoorDash charge $4.00 or $5.00 more for a similar sandwich. The salad was a very basic fast food side salad: shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, olives, shredded cheese and croutons. There is no choice of dressing; it came with ranch. But the lettuce and toppings were both fresh. Bottom line: I would buy this sandwich again. It was delicious, but definitely not worth that price. They didn't allow for special instructions, which I feel like any business that truly cares about their customer's experience would allow. I tried to compare it to Subway because that is my favorite sub shop. If you like lots of meat and fresh veggies with lots of options on bread, sauces, and veggies, plus want a good value, go to Subway. If you are more of a foodie and don't mind paying higher prices, have a smaller appetite, or don't like a lot of veggies on your subs, go here. And adding potato chips to the sandwich adds a bit of seasoning and crunch. Just a heads-up on the chips, though - they are no longer Kettle Brand. I noticed this several orders ago, but it's been going on long enough that it seems like this is a permanent menu change, and not just a temporary supply-chain issue. For the sake of truth in advertising, they need to eliminate the words "Kettle Brand" from the DoorDash menu. Unlike Kettle Brand, these chips are not locally made. They come from a company in Rosemont, Illinois. Superfood Muffin is another item I reorder frequently.
