"The Popcorn Chicken with Rice did not live up to the positive reviews. Chicken was dry and way, way overseasoned, mostly with black pepper. The rice was decent, but white rice is cheap and easy to make at home. Green beans were also ok, seasoned with butter and a little black pepper. Too bad they didn't use the same light hand with the pepper shaker on the chicken.
Lemon Smoothie was ok. I ordered it with 0% added sugar because I am prediabetic; I also just like sour things. It wasn't as tart as I expected it to be, nor did it taste like any artificial sweetener I know of, so I expect it still has some added sugar. It would have been nice if they had provided nutritional information. They also didn't include the serving size; I would guesstimate it to be about 16 oz.
Bottom line: the smoithie is similar to a frozen lemonade that you could get at a fast food restaurant for about half the price, and unlike this restaurant, McDonald's will tell you exactly how many calories and grams of sugar it has. And the chicken was just bad.

"Both the Hazelnut Bread Pudding and Warm and Warm & Toasty were delicious, but very small portions for the price. The bread pudding is similar to French toast, but with a more gooey texture, and a very sweet, caramel taste. Roasted hazelnuts add a bit of crunch.
The Warm & Toasty only came in one size, which is equivalent to a small at Starbucks. It's also extra sweet, with brown sugar being the dominant flavor, so it went well with the Hazelnut Bread Pudding.

Monte Cristo sandwich was just as described: thin-sliced deli ham and Cheddar cheese between two pieces of French toast. The French toast was golden brown on the outside and soft and custardy on the inside, like French toast should be.
I didn't think the carmel dip paired well with the ham and cheese, so I put it in my coffee instead. I suggest they add a way to request cream and sugar with coffee orders, since mine came black. And maybe offer raspberry jam (another traditional side for a Monte Cristo) as an alternative to the dip.
Fresh fruit was sliced pineapple (not canned). Not a super big portion, but a nice palate cleanser after the salty ham sandwich."

"It's easy to see why the Salad Rolls are rated #1 at this restaurant. They're very tasty, fresh and good sized for the price. The peanut dipping sauce is delicious as well. I've ordered these twice before and just now realized they have chicken inside as well as shrimp. Double the protein!
Chicken Fried Rice is good, basic comfort food. Rice is soft and not too salty, and it has a good ratio of meat to veggies (carrots, peas and green onions). It's also a generous serving, so you may not be able to finish it all if you order an appetizer. I'm putting half of mine away for dinner tonight."
"I ordered the Salad Rolls as a freebie on DoubleDash. They were quite tasty and a surprisingly large portion - about twice the size of regular spring rolls. Salad Rolls are served cold, filled with shrimp, chicken, shredded lettuce and rice noodles, with a rice paper wrapper. Peanut dipping sauce served on the side was very tasty as well. They do tend to fall apart when you eat them, so use plenty of napkins."

This store just keeps getting better and better! I was craving a cold coffee drink, so I tried the Irish Mint Mocha, one of this month's specials, and got it blended. Delicious! Like a chocolate mint shake, but with caffeine. Even better when I added a Fudge Brownie .
To bring it up to the $12.00 minimum for free delivery, I added the Loaf slice (cranberry orange flavor), and then they threw in an oatmeal cookie with craisins for free. With a sweet little note.
I haven't tried the orange-cranberry bread or the cookie yet, as I've hit my sugar limit for the day, but they look yummy. They'll keep in the freezer until tomorrow.
I'll definitely continue to order from this place for my morning coffee and breakfast. Their combination of low prices and a continuously varying menu make it hard to beat."
