"Beef tips were chewy and hard, not slow simmered. It's like someone liked the *idea* of beef tips and rice, but had never cooked it, and came up with some hard steak bites and threw some gravy on it. They should be slow simmered in the gravy for hours. The rice was also overcooked and didn't have good texture. The portion was very small. The only redeeming quality was the Mac and cheese, that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'd order an entire plate of it. Whoever made it should get a raise, it has now raised the bar on any other Mac and cheese I eat from here forward."

The food was hot, delicious, and my order was 100% correct, which doesn't always happen with delivery orders. The #3 Spicy Tikka Chicken is delicious and SO spicy. The Elote Guac I ordered for the second time and it was just as good as eating it in the restaurant. Highly recommend Velvet Taco! Definitely worth the price!! "

"I loved the name of this place and the items on the menu sounded great but the execution was very poor. My order arrived barely warm and the proteins did not have alot of flavor. The buffelo chicken tasted like freezer case store bought not freshly breaded, the sauce same. I had high hopes for the asada but the meat lacked flavour no caramelisation with way too much string carrot. An expensive taco , where I have had great asada street tacos for only a couple of bucks -fresher , tastier . The cilantro rice was a few tablespoons of buttered rice with a few leaves of cilantro thrown on it. The Red Velvet Cake did not resemble the photo and quite a small portion Sorry velvet taco we really wanted to love your food but dissapointed"

"I got a caesar salad side, the dressingwas very good! My other side was loaded fries, they were also very good. The loan steak was juicy and delcious! I ordered it mid to well and it was cooked exactly to that. I also wanted to try the BBQ chicken so I ordered that as an additional side. For an additional 8+ dollars it is a very tiny portion but it was also super tasty and it was served over rice(it doesnt tell you that when you order it)! if you are looking for great flavors logas roadhouse is a good one to try out!"
