"We ordered the Pupusas from Guisado Express, and unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. My Salvadoran girlfriend was disappointed with the incorrect cheese used, which made the Pupusas not traditional. The curtido was also way too spicy for her liking, and traditionally, it is mild. The salsa verde was also way too spicy, and there was way too little meat for the price. The Pupusas had more tortilla than anything else, and it tasted more like an Arepa than a Pupusa. I agree with everything she says because she has taken me to eat legitimate Pupusas in the past. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of authenticity and would not recommend this dish to anyone looking for a truly Salvadoran experience."

"Wow! This place was such a great choice to end the holiday wknd with. The Chicharrón / Fried Pork Belly was cooked to perfection, even still had a beautiful crunch on that outside fatty layered skin. The Empanadas regular were filled to the brim with flavorful ground beef while the Empanadas Colombianas / Colombian Empanadas stole the spotlight as they were still crunchy and the filling of potato and slow cooked beef was to die for and great mix of textures and flavor. Truly Wish I ordered more of those ones! And if you're a portion "size" queen/king.... then you better order the Pernil con Arroz / Pork & Rice because that was one hefty order. The slow cooked pork pulled apart effortlessly while the rice was bouncy and soaked up all the juice from the beans perfectly. The Tacos Al Pastor had great taste with the pineapple not being too overwhelming and the marinated pork still having its moment. "This place has such good Guacamole! If I have a craving I get it from here lol they have lots of nice options to choose from too. Their birria tacos are good too I've had them before. This time I got the Burrito Especial Pollo and it's very nice. I like that it tastes homemade (if that makes sense). I also tried Horchata Rice Drink Small for the first time and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place. "
