The Cherry Pit

"The Philly Sandwich and Hangover burger were perfect! The Stuff Mush were a must have! They were diff then any other stuffed mushrooms ive ever had and they were big and meaty! The buffalo wings had a great flavor but because we are sauce fans we would have gotten a side of sauce! We didnt because we got them heavily sauced which was def not heavy for us!"

"Decent food and good value for the price. The Cheese Curds were okay -- definitely a huge portion, price wasn't bad, and the side of marinara was good. They tasted like they were beer-battered, which isn't my personal favorite, and the cheese wasn't really the squeaky cheese you expect in cheese curds, but they weren't bad. Blue & Bacon burger was okay too -- burger itself was cooked well and tasted good, cost was, again, very reasonable, and the blue cheese sauce was amazing...when you could taste it. Unfortunately, the sauce was honestly overpowered by the bacon and onions -- I ended up pulling those off and eating them separately so I could taste the sauce more, as it mostly tasted like a standard burger with it assembled. The fries that came with the burger were excellent. Overall, not the best food I've had, but still good, and much better price and portions than other tavern-style joints around. For the cost and portion sizes I'll definitely try them again."

"Being a new place on Doordash, I was excited to try this place out. It took a while for the store to confirm my order and when my dasher got there, the food was also being prepared. Overall, the food was kind of bland. The liver dish was edible but not great. Just imagine stir fry goat liver with spices and bell pepper and onion. I might skip it for future reference. The Watermelon Juice and Mango Juice was great and refreshing. I did not receive my Vimto drink or fries with my Beef / Chicken Wrap. The Tea and cappuccino was also very refreshing and strong/delicious. overall I am more fan of the drinks than the actual food. would I recommend this place, yes if you haven't had Somali or Ethiopian food but to keep your expectations low."

"I order from the restaurant often. Their soups are great, and food arrives hot, and the order is correct. The only thing ive tried that I wasnt impressed by is the mojarra. The very first time I got it from here, months ago, it was PERFECT. I got the garlic one and it hit the spot. Ive ordered it twice since and the fish is not crispy at all. It's so soft that the bones dont cleanly separate from the meat. I gave a harsh three stars because this is one of the more expensive options on DD. So it should be made properly every time. "
