"I review mac and cheese. it is my favorite food. the noodles of their Mac & Cheese were perfectly cooked. the cheese sauce was Velveeta esque. A fresh creamy sauce, that has that rich cheddar taste. a lot like what you would get with shells and a box of Velveeta shells and cheddar, but slightly elevated with maybe a fresh cream? it wa a bit disappointing in portions to pricing. 12 dollars for a bowl? to be fair that is not a them problem it is a market problem. it is worth it if you are tired and do not want to cook. but only from that angle. it will not feed the family, it is an individual double cup. that said, it is better than other poorly priced portions that are side dishes, for main dish prices. "The catfish was perfect. Crispy, cornmeal crust on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. The coleslaw was the best I've had since moving to Utah from Texas and this is the only restaurant I've found here that has good, ol' fried okra as well as the southern fried catfish. "I ordered the New York Strip Steak dinner which comes in at 10 oz and includes your choice of two sides (I requested steak fries and macaroni and cheese). I specifically requested my New York Strip Steak be well done! The outside definitely was, but when I cut into it, it was all bright pink raw meat! It was such a a disappointment because the steak itself had excellent garlic seasoning and was well done on the outside. The raw meat ruined the whole thing. The steak fries were crispy and the macaroni and cheese was cooked well. The two biscuits were a bit cold and not very fresh tasting. The restaurant did add condiments/ Extras and Silverware requested. This whole dinner would have been 5 stars had the New York Strip Steak been cooked properly to well done with NO PINK CENTER. "I been a min since Ive ordered from PhoBahn but had a craving for Chicken Pho. Ever was packaged well, but I noticed the broth container was different, smaller even. I opened the styrofoam container that had all the add ins for the pho. Again noticed a big change, they used to slice up the chicken breast, you ended up with about 1/4 of a large breast. Today the chicken is shredded, which some made it more dry, about an ounce of meat. Even the am of noodles has decreased, oh and the houson sauce is tiny! The broth tasted delicious but was def a watered down version of the old one. I kn times are tough, but to charge 1.75 more and give a lesser pro was sad. "

The food arrived in a DIY assembly kind of way, which led to a weird experience of some parts of the Tonkotsu Ramen being hot-ish, while some were actually cold. The flavor profile was alright, but nothing that left me wanting more. As for the Cheesecake, I opted for the matcha variant. Genuinely disappointed in how extremely minuscule the portion was for the cost. There was more ice cream than cheesecake, and the ice cream was essential to providing moisture as the cheesecake was extremely dry and dense. Those tiny bites were very hard to process. Might be better fresh in-haus, but this experience does not compel me to try it again. "
