The banana peppers on my sandwich were gross they didn’t taste fresh at all. I work in the food industry and know what fresh ingredients taste like and the banana peppers i got were completely gross. They also didn’t toast the meat and cheese like I requested and the sub was drowned in oil although I did ask for the oil the 3 layers of wrapping the small sandwich came it were completely soaked. Also they packaged each item individually which is a huge waste of paper the big bag they put just the condiments and macarons in although it was big enough to fit all 3 of the items i ordered. Then the pizza logs came packaged in a box 3 times the size of the logs themselves... Just a lot of paper waste. "Ordinarily I had really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. So when I ordered from here last night I was enthusiastic about getting my meal. However when it came there were problems. First was the appetizer which for the money spent was pretty lame. This was their sampler. There were two hard cheese stick, 2 Chicken tenders, 2 overfried taquitos and a small chicken quesadilla. I will say the quesadilla was good but tiny. We got the guacamole dip which was also good but there were no chips. Luckily I had some bag chips. My husband liked the enchiladas but they were out of the tamales he ordered. My seafood chimichanga was supposed to be deep fried but what I got was burnt. Also...they used to make them with both crab and shrimp and were stuffed. Now you have to choose and there wasn't much in it. I chose the crab and it was the real kind. The rice and beans with the cheese sauce were good. The fajita chimichanga looks like a mushfest because they put so much cheese sauce on it I couldn't tell that there were beans and rice. All the condiments provided were fresh and tasty. The "salad" side for the chimichanga also seemed fresh. I will probably not order from them again...at least for quite awhile. Our dasher was nice and let my son know about the tamales when he did the drop off. "

"Cal Tor has become my children and my go to place to order for Lunch or Dinner from Door Dash.My 9 year old twins love the Kids Taco although they have started to want an extra taco each. So I have been getting the Pick Two Taco for them in addition to their Kids Taco. I am obsessed with their refried beans. They're creamy and really tasty. Kind of want to try everything on the menu!"

I order no heat, which has good flavor with a tiny bit of heat, which is balanced perfectly with the creamy sweet heat from the sauce and the acidity of the pickle, the slightly sweet acidity and crunch of the slaw, and the grilled brioche bun. The chicken breast is HUGE, bigger than the bun, and always perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. This was my first time trying the Hush Puppies and they were very good! I had requested a side of cream cheese icing and turns out they don't offer that anymore BUT whoever packed my order wrote a very kind note telling me this and also gave me a free bag of cookies! They were soft and chocolate chip, my son loved them and I just thought it was so kind of the person (thank you if you see this!) The FGT fried green tomatos are on the smaller side , but still good and I love their dipping sauce with it. The fries I think you need to get fresh in person because they get cold and limp very fast! But otherwise love this place and the staff is always kind. Thanks again!"
