However, the Carrot Cake was dry, even slightly stale and not fresh tasting, terrible icing, not even cream cheese icing, barely any raisins, or nuts or carrots! So therefore I'm sorry that is not a carrot cake. It tasted OVERLY gingerbread. I'm a carrot cake lover and this was genuinely one of the worst carrot cakes I've ever had. The apple pie was tasty but they gave a piece that was like half cut off in the front not even a full slice. I will always get the chicken orzo soup and the Baked Stuffed Shrimp but I will never order the carrot cake again."

"The Seared Scallops were plentiful and delicious! I was craving scallops tonight and while I want really trying to spend $40 on my dinner, sometimes, you just have to shell out the cash because you get what you pay for. As I perused all my options on doordash (most of which were fried anyway, when I specifically wanted seared) I decided I'd rather spend an extra $10-15 and get something I know I'll like. Legal Seafoods has never disappointed me before and it sure didn't disappoint tonight either, and this was my first time using Doordash to order from them. In the past I'd always either sit down or get take out myself. I thought getting scallops delivered might be a little risky, but they arrived quickly and perfectly warm. Now-onto the scallops themselves! DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection! I didn't count them before I started eating but there must've been at least 7-8 large scallops, which I thought to be quite generous. Another restaurant I looked at (of a similar caliber as Legal Seafoods) had a similar scallop dish for the exact same price with only THREE scallops! I considered ordering from there until I saw that, like are you kidding?! I'd still be starving! But Legal Seafoods hooked it up. The accompaniments that came with the dish were delicious as well and complimented it perfectly. I didn't order any sides as I was already spending a lot and I'm glad I didn't because the included accompaniments were perfect. I'm a lifelong fan of LS, but I haven't been there in quite a few years as I wanted to discover new restaurants, but tonight I was reminded why I love them in the first place and will certainly start going or ordering from them regularly again. I wish you could smell the scallops through this review-my god-they smell so sweet and utterly scrumptious! Not fishy in the slightest, the aroma is perfection and it itself makes you hungry. Sometimes, its best to stick to the classics and LS is a classic for good reason. Also, I noticed while browsing the menu that the prices have not gone up significantly since the last time I've been there, which was pre-pandemic. I really appreciate that. "

The Boston Seafood Platter is banging!! I do not prefer fried seafood platters which is usually the case at restaurants so I was happy to see the baked seafood platter in ritz crackers. Again, the portion is okay- good for a single person with an appetite & no left overs. But it is absolutely delicious, it melts in your mouth, and is worth the price. The mashed potatoes are perfectly creamy as well as the green beans cooked just right.
I wonder about switching the mashed potatoes with their grits. TOGMT's grits are phenomenal!! I will most likely order this meal again in the future."
