"I order from Ideal Jamaican Flavors regularly, on October 22th 2025 I ordered the Escovitch Whiting Meal for the first time. Let me start off by saying, the Escovitch Whiting was fried perfectly! The whiting is seasoned perfectly( not salty), was not overcooked at all, very much flaky and melt in your mouth!! And most importantly- IT IS NOT GREASY. The Escovitch Whiting Meal comes with about 3 medium-sized strips of whiting, plus steamed vegetables, rice and peas plus a couple of fried plantains. It is a good portion size for 9$, the fish tastes fantastic, the sides it comes with are always good and its an overall great lunch sized meal. You will be full after! Would definitely order again and recommend to friends, colleagues and family."

"Lamb was good but I wouldn't call it hash as much as I would call it a stir fry. ingredients weren't chopped up enough thus not getting a cohesive hash flavor. Tried a bunch of other items and I'm not a fan of the food. Pancakes had no flavor, pear jam meh, coffees had hibiscus notes which I don't appreciate in my coffee, morning buns were too sweet...... all in all food has no flavor or one specific flavor that didn't belong. I will say packaging was exceptional and top notch probably adding to the high prices."

"I ordered on DD. The bagel selection was a littke confusing ordering a dozen so I got 8 instead. Firstly I never give 5 stars but Im impressed. Lately the bagels and the food industry as a whole have been rather lack luster. I ordered 3 spreads strawberry, veggie and plain. Surprisingly they were whipped! Not hard and lumpy like most stores. All were very fresh and quite tasty. The veggie cream cheese was very good, carrots, bell peppers and maybe cucumbers? Perfect combo! Usually its scallions an radishes and the second you pull the lid back it smells like garbage. The bagels were excellent. I lightly toast my bagels. I ate 2 and they were not overly chewey. Most other stores would leave my jaw aching. All the items ordered an consumed were spot on!"
