It was hard like a cracker and it looks like the size and shape of that store bought naan. Almost like they took that naan and put it in the over under a broiler to char up some spots and they cooked it too long. When I pulled it out of the bag I could feel it was like a board. "Saag Paneer is always one of my fave staples and Shaan did not disappoint! In addition to my go-to, I decided to try out some new items too. The Malai Kofta was phenomenal, such a cozy meal! The vegetable balls in it were a great medium firm texture, a bit crumbly if you cut into it, and I think potato and cheese based. The sauce was smooth and creamy and just a touch tangy, perfect to go with naan or your choice of bread. This time I decided to go for the upgrade Chef-Naan and was not disappointed. It was huge, like literally one half was bigger than my head, and was worth the extra money! It was very balanced and filling on its own. All of the portions are huge and I will be having the best leftovers for days 😋"

"This was the perfect comfort food on a snowy night. The Dhaba Butter Chicken was deeply flavorful with a slow burning heat that didn't overwhelm the flavor. The Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti - Butter were the perfect accompaniments and they arrived hot, fresh and tender. And the Coconut Mousse was so light and fluffy and perfectly portioned. Dal Makhani was wonderful as well. Tried Viva for the first time today, and it's on the top of my go-to Indian restaurants moving forward.
