My wife ordered a burrito with carne asada, and while she mentioned there were some gristly pieces, she has come to expect that from carne asada. She was also thoroughly impressed by her food, and that is an accomplishment. She is far more picky than I am, especially where Mexican food is concerned. I cannot speak about any of the other items, but the two we have tried thus far have both been top notch. I could probably eat that burrito every night and be satisfied with it. In fact, I'm planning to order it again tonight, just one day later. At some point, I will definitely branch out and try other items, and when I do, maybe I will find that their lower rating is deserved. If that happens, I will update. Until then, I can't help but look forward to enjoying more good food. "

Tonight, I noticed they were named one of Maricopa's top restaurants, so we finally gave them a try. I personally tried Taco Ranchero, Cabeza Taco, and Barbacoa Taco, the latter two with cheese. They were--bar none--the best tacos I have ever had in Maricopa. For the first time since moving here, I feel like I have had real, delicious, satisfying tacos. They came with three sauces. I wasn't a big fan of the red, but the two green sauces were each quite good in their own ways. Rice and beans were also very satisfying. The only thing we were disappointed with was the Pastor Quesadilla. It felt like eating a greasy, half-melted cheese block wrapped in tortilla with some meat sprinkled in. Not good, but you can't win them all."
