I tried the saagwala today, and it is so delicious. If you enjoy well-seasoned ground spinach with the meat of your choice, I highly recommend it. The aloo (potato) naan is also quite delicious, and it is so good with the saag wedged in. I love their peas pulao so much, I get it every time I order! "Today I feel like God heard my prayer~ when I discovered Ahura on DoorDash.
I had been running around with a million things todo, so takeout made the most since.
I have been praying that I might have a Persian restaurant near by. Even a little one, because I am always craving and the drive to Sandy Springs is an hour for me :(.
I ordered my favorites, and even added the Persian mashed potatoes just to try something new.
I went home and opened the bag and caught wiff of the smell and I thought~
Oooooo this is going to be good :)
Then I opened the box and I found my skewers are huge ! (Im convinced!)
Even my little gremlin came down to try and bully me out of dinner.
I feel that the only thing that could have made my dinner better was some Persian Ice cream to seal the deal ;) ~

"Oxtails tasted different today like an ingredient was missing. The cabbage also had a slightly less seasoned flavor than usual. The portion sizes are fine and I appreciate the leak-proof containers. The plantains were not fresh. They were extremely hard, rubbery and very very dry. It tasted like it had been fried in extremely old oil as well. I had to spit it out and throw it out. I had given this place a little bit of a break and decided to try them again. I'll give them another break for a while. It doesn't seem like the owner is doing the cooking right now."

"The food is incredible! I was very surprised by how well the wings stayed crispy. I highly recommend the wett wings. I personally had no sauce and just added the ranch dippings sauce. Im sure that is why they stayed crispy (recommend no sauce). I wish there was a way to get the sauce on the side. The veggie delux plate was so delicious. I had been wanting some Mac and cheese for the longest and this hit the spot. I know now where I can get my vegan soul food favorites! I can't recommend this place enough! My only suggestion/recommendation would be to pick up the food yourself or go directly to the location to order. My order was $65 including tip! Thankfully the food was so good I believe it was worth it, especially not having to deal with traffic on a Friday evening in Atlanta. Next time I'm picking up/ ordering direct. "
